Animals S.O.S. Trust

Can you help us?

Kennel Accommodation Required

The Animals SOS urgently need find another facility to house our dogs while they wait to be re-homed. The Kennels we normally use can no longer take our dogs as the business is being sold. We are looking for a facility in or around Wellington as this is where most of our animals come from.

We are happy to pay for food and board, but would be grateful for any discounts as we have limited funds and rely entirely on donations to cover our day to day operating expenses. We would only need accommodation for up to three or four dogs at a time - usually less. In return we would advertise the Kennels on our website and any other advertising material we produce.

Please help us to help the animals.

To offer assistance please contact Vivienne Gordon on 04 934 4864

Make a Donation:

No, we are not in it for the money! The Animals SOS Trust is a completely non-profit organisation, but we do need money to continue to rescue and re-home animals around the country. We get no government funding, so we rely on donations and it is the generosity of people like you, which enables us to continue our work.

If you would like to make a donation towards the on-going work of the Animals SOS Trust please post your donation to: PO Box 17014, Karori, Wellington. All donations over $5 are tax deductible. If you would like a receipt, please send your address details with your donation.

Donate Pet Food/Pet Care Products:

Would you rather donate in kind than in money? It costs a lot to feed all the animals we board. We are would be very grateful of any donations of pet food for either dogs, or cats or both: cans, dog rolls or dry food - we need it all!

Pet care products such as flea treatments, worming products, collars, leads or anything you consider may be useful would be appreciated.

To donate pet food or pet care products on a regular basis or as a one off donation please phone Vivienne on: Wellington: (04) 934 4864

Become a Foster Parent:

Sometimes our modest resources are stretched to the limit! We are in desperate need of people who would be prepared to foster an animal (usually a dog or a cat) in their home for a short period, until we can find permanent new homes for them to go to.

All you need to do is supply regular food and lots of TLC. We urgently need to find more foster homes and would really appreciate your help if you have the time and facilities. To foster dogs you must have a fully fenced section, we also ask that foster parents are at home a fair amount of time during the day to help our animals remain socialised and ready for their new homes.

If you would like to become a Foster Parent please contact Vivienne on (04) 934 4864
