The trust is a 'watchdog' registered
Charitable Society with a dual purpose - to act on behalf of animals and
birds to defend them and protect their rights, and to safeguard them from
abuse.
It sets out to educate the public
in the welfare of animals and birds, promoting responsible ownership,
and appropriate desexing of pets to avoid uncontrolled breeding.
The Trust stands against unnecessary
euthanasia of unwanted animals, and when necessary, tries to find temporary
homes until permanent rehoming can be organised for animals threatened
in this way.
The Trust is seeking volunteers
to assist in its programme of pet fostering and pet therapy.
If you are able to help either by
donation or in a practical way, please contact us at:
